Movie fan

There’s always something about sitting in the movie theatre, the smell of the popcorn and the turning off the lights that always makes me feel like a little kid.

This was sketched on my sketch book and finished on iPad Pro using Tayasui Sketches app and a pencil texture.

Resting Woman in Pink

A mindful and body positive image. After a hectic period in which I felt stuck and a creative block, I sat and draw with new tools and this lady appeared, effortlessly. A reminder to being content and taking a moment to breathe and recharge, as well as to explore and being open and hopeful to new possibilities.

Feria del Libro de Madrid

I love going to Madrid each year for the Feria del Libro (book fair) It’s such a delight to walk in El Retiro and discover the new titles and chatting with authors and bookshop owners.

Little artist

Series of illustrations of a boy who wants to be an artist! Made as a character design practice for Childhood Week, here we have him daydreaming about the future, practicing his drawing and resting while exploring other hobbies like baking a cake.

I also wanted to explore drawing him on a different style, which I did as a part of a Christmas series. This time I draw him indoors because it was really cold outside.

In my mind

A reminder of how much time we spend day dreaming about the person we want to be: the powerful bosslady at work, who has time to cook perfect meals and bake perfect cakes, and will retire to be this beautiful cool lady who will carefully tend her garden.
